Judge Mangieri Reelected By Running Clean Positive Campaign

I am really glad that Judge Mangieri was reelected. It is nice to see someone who runs a clean positive campaign reelected. James Standard ran a very negative campaign, spending his ad revenues misrepresenting Judge Mangieri's record. I hope we can see the last of the nasty, negative campaigning made infamous by the Bush family duo. Negative campaigning, which is often based on half-truths blown out of proportion, is nothing different than gossip and office whisper campaigns only less reliable.

Typography, The Letters Do Matter!

Reading text on a computer screen is different than on paper. Different computer screens may have different resolutions. A web page may have a different appearance on every computer is viewed on. Web pages are made up of hypertext. Hypertext is a document in electronic format. Documents on the web are linked by hyperlinks; this is how pages are transversed on the World Wide Web.

Where To Type In Keywords So That When People Use The Search Button Your Business Will Pop Up

Just type them in under your ad. You can also put them in the body of the ad. You can have as many pages as you want as long as they are different. Each page you have will show up in the search results depending on the search terms searched for and contained in your listing. The search works by searching for words contained in the ad. In my ad at http://www.galesburgpages.com/node/20 I just placed them at the bottom, this is the easiest way. Some web sites do this and call it a tag cloud. These are just keywords to get the web page found.

Galesburg’s Bulletin Board

Ever see one of those cork boards like the one at Giant Foods or the Broadview Restaurant? There would be business cards thumb tacked all over the place. This is kind of a nice free way for businesses to advertise but it is kind of hard to find what you want this way. Wouldn’t it be great if you could just type in what you want and several things would come up and you could just choose which one you wanted. What if you do all this from the comfort of your own home. Well you can do that here.
Search is in the upper left corner.

What Happened To All The Donut Shops?

Remember how many donut shops we used to have? Lets see there was one on Grand Ave near the Laundromat. Both are gone now. The one on Broad and Fremont is still there but doesn’t seem to as busy as it once was.
